TEACHERS

Mr. Powers

John Powers has tought for LVHS longer than anyone else has. Hes been teaching here since 1985 and was a subtitute teacher 5 years before. He teaches English 12 and English 12 H. He graduated from college in 1969. He said that if he wasnt a teacher he would be a screenplay writer for movies and t.v. shows. He will always be part of LVHS history.

Mrs. Colasuono

Mrs. Colasuono is a teacher that was actually a student here too. She graduated in 1994 from LVHS. Her favorite teachers were Ms. Carter, Ms. Anne, and Mr. Slobody. She did two sports, volleyball and swimming. I asked why she decided to come and teach and she answered " I'm a true Wildcat, it would be really weird to live here & cheer for any other school except LVHS. "
Ms. Sims

Ms. Sims attended here in 2002 and graduated in 2006. Now she works for the school as a counselor for freshman students. She was part of student council, iTV, and was also in a web design class. Her favorite teachers were Mr. Plunkett, Mr. Brown, and Mr. Purtill. She decided to come back and become a counselor because she really enjoys helping students and its fun to her that shes able to work for the school she went to.

Mr. Capetillo

Mr. Capetillo is also another student that came to this school and now teaches here. He also graduated in 2006. His favorite teachers were Mrs. Schneider and Coach Plunkett. He played football for 4 years and wrestling for his freshman year. I asked why did he come back and teach for his old school and he said " I decided to come back because LVHS is truly a great place to be at. Feels like home. "
